In this returning edition of Christ&, we explore the topic of singleness.
What does the Bible really say about singleness? Is there a biblical understanding and response to being single in today’s world? Join us for this Christian Education seminar exploring the biblical theology of singleness from the Old to the New Testament, with special focus on Paul’s teaching on singleness in 1 Corinthians 7. Discover how singleness is portrayed in Scripture and its place in the life of the church today. The seminar includes a teaching session, panel sharing, and an open Q&A. All ages and stages of life are welcome to come and learn more!

Speaker Introduction
Oliver (or Ollie as many of his friends call him) has served as a pastor at Grace Baptist Church since December 2010. He has served as pastor for youth and young adults and later care groups before serving as Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship.
Before a stint at the Ministry of Education Headquarters, he taught secondary school biology and chemistry. Now, he teaches God’s Word and reaches and points people to Jesus Christ.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Biology, received training from the National Institute of Education, and graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a single man in ministry with a weakness for good coffee and good books and loves cats. In his free time, he trains in boxing and Brazilian Jiujitsu. He still thinks it is a privilege to be in ministry and fights for joy in Jesus Christ daily.
